Brad Keselowski will lead the field to the green flag for Saturday's NASCAR Nationwide Series race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

Keselowski broke the track record with a qualifying run of 29.067 seconds (131.035 mph) to earn the pole for the F.W. Webb 200 (3:30 p.m., ESPN). The 28-year-old Michigander topped the previous mark (130.716) set 11 years ago by Kevin Harvick.

Kasey Kahne will start second, after turning in a 29.122-second lap. He also rolls off second for Sunday's Sprint Cup race. Defending series champion Ricky Stenhouse Jr. starts third for Roush Fenway Racing.

Kyle Busch was the final driver to make a lap, and it looked like he would pose a challenge to Keselowski's time. However, Busch bobbled a bit in turns 3 and 4 and will start fifth later today.

Danica Patrick had a disappointing lap and will start 18th in the 43-car field. Action sports star Travis Pastrana qualified 20th, a fairly impressive effort for a driver still getting accustomed to Nationwide competition.

Keselowski, the 2010 NNS champion, earned his 13th career Nationwide pole, his first of 2012 and third in five New Hampshire starts.
